The president announced
The president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced Monday that the country will have a national center of science and technology applied to high performance sports. Likewise, Maduro approved the necessary resources to begin the preparation plan for Venezuelan athletes who will participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The announcements were made from the Miraflores Palace, Caracas, where he decorated the Venezuelan athletes, who participated in Rio 2016 , with the order José Felix Ribas in his first class.
