Aruba, recognized as the Caribbean island most committed to the environment, adds another achievement to its efforts to combat pollution and degradation of coral reefs with the approval of this new law, which once again demonstrates its commitment to the care and welfare of nature.
For several years, the Arubian government, together with the Aruba Tourism Authority, have been working on different plans and projects with the aim of making the Island a 100% sustainable place, taking into account that with this they seek to be a model of sustainable economic prosperity for other island nations.
From July 1, 2020, Happy Island will stop the importation, sale and production of single-use plastics and oxybenzone, and will launch the #MiPromesaAruba initiative with which it invites visitors to commit to the
